SYSPIN TTS models release for public use

We are pleased to inform you that the SYSPIN Text-to-Speech (TTS) models have been successfully uploaded to the BHASHINI platform, making them available for integration by end users and accessible to citizens via the Anuvaad web service and the BHASHINI Mobile Application. This marks a significant step toward enabling inclusive language technologies across India. Special thanks to Pranav and Amartyaveer for their dedicated efforts in making this release possible.

Paper acceptance in InterSpeech 2025

We are thrilled to announce that four papers from SPIRE Lab have been accepted for publication in the proceedings of InterSpeech 2025, to be held at Rotterdam, Netherlands. We are excited to share our research findings with the community and engage in meaningful discussions.

Speech recognition in agriculture and finance for the poor is an initiative to create resources and make them available in the open-source domain to spur research and innovation in speech recognition in nine different Indian languages in the area of agriculture and finance.

The study involves development of an interactive system which can assess, diagnose and track the Indian English spoken language learners.

Identification of speakers using head gestures in a narration



Head gestures convey intensity of speech and a lot of paralinguistic information. This study contributes to Automatic Identification of speakers using head gestures.
