Dr. Veerababu Dharanalakota has been working in the area of Acoustics and Vibration for the past 8 years. He obtained his masters degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IISc Bengaluru and PhD degree from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, IIT Hyderabad. Prior to joining PhD program, he worked as an Assistant Manager, R&D, Bajaj Auto Limited, Pune, India. He published his research work in top-notch journals in acoustics such as JASA, ASME JVA and NCEJ, and obtained awards of international repute from the Acoustical Society of America, and International Institute of Noise Control Engineering. He is currently a life member of Acoustical Society of India and Associate Member of Acoustical Society of America. His expertise includes Applied Mathematics, Numerical Modeling (FEM), Programming and Experimental Techniques in Acoustics and Vibration. Currently, he is working on the acoustic modeling of human pulmonary system in the SPIRE laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IISc Bengaluru, India.

I am Deekshitha G from Gods own country, Kerala. I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at SPIRE Lab in IISc Bangalore. I completed my PhD from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam, Kerala. Prior to that I have worked as a project fellow at Centre for Advanced Signal Processing (CASP) in the Department of ECE, RIT Kottayam, Kerala. My research interests include speech signal processing, speech recognition, deep learning, & machine learning.

I am an M.Tech. (Research) student in the department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
I completed my B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunications
Engineering in 2019 from IIEST, Shibpur. Currently, at SPIRE lab, I work on improving air-tissue
boundary segmentation in real-time magnetic resonance imaging videos using speech articulator
specific error criterion. I trained in Nazrulgeeti and classical music for ten years and I also have a
knack for instruments like guitar and harmonium, and for exploring new songs in different
languages.

My interests lie in the subject of Power Electronics with new-found interest in the fields of Signal Processing, MEMS technologies and Android Development. I have also worked as an Hardware Engineer with the Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering(GROE) team of Honeywell Aerospce. In my free time, I usually find myself playing a lot of games, reading about different fighter aircrafts and reading books on War Strategies.
